Mr. Gulersen will be joined by two deputy student liaisons, Dafna Sudai and Sophie Nemzow. The student council and the five elected committee coordinators are extremely excited about plans for the upcoming 2013-14 year.
Moti Gulersen was elected as the new student president for 2013-14. "I am excited to bring additional enthusiasm and ideas to the Technion American Medical program student body" said Moti on his appointment. Mr. Gulersen plans to capitalize on the achievements of outgoing presidents Josh Geleris (2012-2013) and David Steffin (2011-2012). "Both Josh and David were able to create an efficient council structure and initiated new levels of support and involvement and I plan to support that effort and build on their achievements" responded Moti. Mr. Gulersen was instrumental in the academic curriculum committee, coordinating with the Save a Child's Heart Association and devoted a countless amount of time to providing academic review sessions to students needing assistance.

Jeffrey Berinstein (2015) coauthored a textbook chapter in the 6th edition of Vaccines, Published by Elsevier, and edited by Stanley Plotkin. The reference book contains a comprehensive overview of every aspect of vaccination. The chapter is titled Therapeutic cancer vaccines.
