Alan Katz
Technion American Medical Program 2016
My name is Alan Katz and I’m a 24-year-old, first-year student in the Technion American Medical Program. I recently got married to my amazing wife, Leora, and together we decided to officially make Aliyah. I grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey and attended Frisch High School and Yeshiva University. From a young age I was fascinated by science and enjoyed helping people. Wishing to pursue a career that would allow me to combine these two passions, I knew that medicine was my calling. Additionally, I grew up in a community that instilled in me a deep connection with the land of Israel. The TEAMS program at the Technion Institute has provided me with the opportunity to fulfill both my dreams of becoming a doctor and living in Israel. The warmth and friendliness of the students and faculty here provides an environment where I can focus on my studies, learn a lot, and enjoy the experience. The TEAMS program has a phenomenal reputation of educating and training future doctors and I feel lucky to be a part of it. My wife and I are eagerly looking forward to starting our new lives together in Israel with our new TeAMS family Alan Katz Technion American Medical Program 2016 Comments are closed.
